1) As a special offer, any Annual membership which is signed up for, prior to or on December 31st 2019 will entitle the donor to an extended membership up to 31st December 2020. This does not apply to monthly memberships.
2) Annual subscriptions will not automatically renew at the end of 2020. We will send you a reminder to allow you to resubscribe for 2021 at the end of 2020 should you wish to do so.
3) Other than student member level, which requires members to be students, all other levels can be signed up for by any individual or type of company or size.
4) While the Individual proprietor level has been set up to ensure that proprietors can contribute at a discounted level of $60 there is no restriction on individual proprietors donating at any of the higher membership levels.
5) The individual proprietor level is not exclusive to individual proprietors and companies other than individual proprietors may sign up for this level of membership if they want.
6) Annual memberships last one year from the date a membership option is paid for. If you decide to check the renewal box Donations will be automatically be collected annually starting one year from the date of the first payment, until membership is cancelled.
7) You are free to unsubscribe at any point and will not be charged from date subscription is cancelled onwards. To unsubscribe you can use the link at www.jewelryindustrysummit/donate or send an email to jewelryindustrysummit@gmail.com
8) Membership contributions are considered donations and come with benefits up to the value of $75 such as discounts to events and access to members only content and activities. IRS rules provide that only payments for memberships in excess of $75 annually (the maximum value of the membership) are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
9) You will receive an annual summary of prior year donations at the beginning of each subsequent year for tax purposes. You can review your donations to date at any time by going to the donations page jewelryindustrysummit.com/donate and logging into your donations history. A report on donations made in 2019 which cover membership throughout 2020 will be sent in January 2020.
10) You are free to change your level of donation at any time and this will affect any payments due from that point in time forward. To do this should cancel your existing subscription through the link on www.jewelryindustrysummit.com/donate page and sign up for a new subscription at your preferred level.
11) You can switch from annual to monthly memberships at any time or vice versa and this will come into effect immediately. To switch you should cancel your existing subscription through the link on www.jewelryindustrysummit.com/donate page and sign up for a new subscription based on your preferred frequency of payments.
12) You will be subscribed automatically to our newsletter unless you uncheck the subscribe to our newsletter box.
13) Your banking information will be kept only so long as you are subscribed to recurring payments. If at any time you would like to receive notification of what banking information we hold (ie credit card details) or personal information (ie name, address, email and company if company information is provided by you) then please email us at jewelryindustrysummit@gmail.com
14) You can request that your personal and banking information be removed from our system at any time by emailing us at jewelryindustrysummit@gmail.com and we will remove it within 21 days.
15) Your personal and banking information will not be sold to any third party or given to any third party organization other than those directly contracted by Jewelry Industry Summit in order to communicate or perform activities associated with providing Summit services associated with membership.
16) Acceptance of any donation is at the discretion of the Jewelry Industry Summit. The Jewelry Industry Summit will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of the Jewelry Industry Summit.
17) The Jewelry Industry Summit does not provide advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts and encourages you to seek guidance from your own financial adviser.
